That it was just your impression is good enough.  We'll all make a
note of it and see if anything else bubbles up.

Re: the torture device that writes on the victim.  Are you sure that
this isn't from history rather than fiction?  And didn't the Kafka
device write and write and write on the victim until death ensued (or am
I thinking of some other work here?)?  The device in the Matachin
tower seems more like a "Scarlet Letter" brand Autodoc-cum-tatooiton,
that is, not lethal by itself.
