I raised the matter of Blount and Australia with my learned friend John
Bangsund <bangsund@pipeline.com.au>
who scoured his CD-ROMss, his reference library and his commodious mind for
possible clews. He found this:
>Edward Blount was a relatively unimportant person (as far as

>1830s. He was in favor of [*gasp*] Catholic Emancipation.
A bias, no doubt, sure to gain favor among people named Gene Wolfe, but
otherwise perhaps not all that salient to *Fifth Head*.
