I thought Silk was upset for exactly the reason that Horn talks about: Hyacinth had deceived Silk by acting cute and helpless, like Mucor's lynx. Her being able to subdue the pilot unassisted is the *evidence* that she deceived him. He hates being made a fool of and he hates wondering whether he loves the real Hyacinth or an illusion. Of course, other depressing things are happening (some of which would only depress a saint). Jerry Friedman __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
