What is the terrain like, in kwaZulu-Natal? Does it resemble the tropical
jungle of the scene in 'The Jungle Garden'?

Do Zulus use arrow poison? For that matter, do they use bows and arrows to
any great extent?

In the early twentieth century, what religion might the average Zulu be
expected to profess?

What was the extent of European civilization in kwaZulu-Natal in the early
