What you are talking about and what I am talking about are two different
things.

You can do whatever you like, as long as you are willing to do the work.

I am willing to do a lot of work for this, including catering meals if
necessary (I am a skilled amateur chef), but only if it happens in my
home town. 

If people decide to do it elsewhere, best of luck to all of you! Enjoy
yourselves! But it will be happening without me.
