From:Subject: (urth) Pedagogy Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2003 8:29:58 -0500 I had an art teacher once. Drawing class. We drew ovals for a week. We drew big peices of paper tacked up on the wall in wavy designs for three weeks. We drew twigs for two weeks. The teacher would come aroudn the room while we were drawing, and look over our shoulder. He'd say "No, that's not right. You're not *seeing*" "that's not paper, that's cloth" and then he'd move on. It was incredibly frustrating, but at the end, I knew how to draw. Paul --
