oookay. This will surely be good. While both T. and B. are cast from their
towers by Severian, how oh how are they the same person? Or do you mean only
thematically?

I'm still working my way thru the Short Sun; is there any explanation of
what happened to Typhon's kids? Skylla presumably became the famous monster
tyrant of Urth. If Tartaros has a identity on Urth it is surely Erebus. What
happened to Hieros?
